Skates cutting or puck on post were close but the correct answer was Gary Bettman getting booed any time he steps on the ice. Hands down the best tradition in hockey.

I love the sound of a tape on tape pass. Especially on a tic tac toe or a quick moving pp. Also as a sabres fan I loved the rattling of the boards at the aud.

As a fan I love hockey sounds. It’s the only sport that every sound elicits different emotions. The sound of the cross bar gives relief for one side and then the “AWW” from the other side. The sound of the pass slapping a stick is just orchestrated percussion. Then the goal horn. The boards being hit rattling the what used to be glass and the players clicking their sticks in celebration after a fight. The silence when there is an opposing goal can be deafening.
