This is wonderful and I love it. I've never thought about snakes that deeply, and I do enjoy exploring rules that I normally don't think about. Thank you.

If you take requests, would you consider a combat example for the first room in the I Smell a Rat adventure? It's just a tavern cellar with some giant spiders, but the room is extremely dark until you light the torches in the middle, and the floor is covered in spiderwebs. Between the darkness and the difficult terrain, it's a complex encounter for which I would greatly appreciate some guidance.
