I have been to many places in Tochigi prefecture but never visited its capital city. This time I visited another place nearby but had enough time to check Tochigi city and get back home by the last train.

Imagine being able to walk around a city at night, and feel completely safe.
Instead of gang signs and graffiti adorning bridges and walls, it's historically-inspired artwork.
Frogs and insects instead of gunshots and police sirens.

When I lived in Japan I walked a lot during late night or early morning when there are no people outside. From my apartment, I went to nearby Daiei or konbini bought some stuffs or cigs and then walked back home. It was calm and peaceful but a little bit eerie. Just like this video. God I really miss it. Thanks for the upload.

Salute you for going as far as Tochigi prefecture and back to Tokyo again by train. I remember visiting Nikko, Tochigi few years ago and wasn't it take almost 2hrs?
