Yea Charles is a clown he’s a genius in marketing and manipulation but cardano literally has no product right now and has not utility at all, they say gogan test net doing well blah blah but nothing is built on it yet. Bitcoin was not made to be a gas coin like etherium, bnb, and Ada bitcoin is a store of value and is the best store of value. Ether and bnb are nothing like btc and people who understand crypto know that. Btc and eth are two completely different things. Ada fans on the other hand are just moon boys who don’t know nothing about crypto. Charles could have a nice Ada mainnet with low gas fees but BNB did it first and will dominate the market because of that. CZ the owner of bnb has 10x the experience the Charles and BNB smart chain has over 40 billion in total volume locked on there defi projects while eth has just over 50 billion locked in defi. You know what ADA total volume locked is?? It’s 0 literally nothing has no use at all

Bitcoin doesn’t need to be any more technologically advanced than it is right now to do the job that it’s currently doing as a replacement for gold....unless someone finds a gold bar that can fly.

If btc ever ceased to exist or not be invested in. it would eclipse the entire space in a matter of hours. And it’s not useless what so ever. It’s turned into essentially the reserve. It is what all cryptos rely on as the stabilising struct. Ergo yes it’s everything Charles said it was but it’s also the prop for the space. Just as gold was to currency and just as the dollar is now to trading commodities. It’s the most important in itself

Why compare with bitcoin? Cardano and bitcoin are not the same thing, nor do they solve the same problems in society

Thats why xrp is going to change the game, cheap transfers, ability to burn coin, lighting fast liquidity. Better tech, regulated central control in case of hack or abuse but intrinsic Decentralized format. Everything good except the SEC can't figure out how to stop it

Put Charles into a debate about “value” with Michael Saylor. Charles is a computer scientist; I don’t think he understands the principles of sound money; nor the “value” of a decentralised network, which is controlled by all participants, instead of a CEO. Having said that - I still think there is a future value proposition for Cardano as a layer 2 solution. There’s just no need to bash bitcoin.

Saying we don't need Bitcoin because we have Cardano now is like saying we don't need gold because we have bank notes now. Cardano is awesome, I hold it and believe in the project, but Bitcoin is the foundation of the crytpo space and is here to stay.

Yea, bitcoin and literally every other thing on the planet that has value to anybody.
Its called the subjective theory of value popularized by Carl menger. He knew that in the 19th century so I don't understand how people are still struggling with it today. Bitcoin is valuable because the most people value it the highest and it is scarce. Thats the foundation of how markets work. Charmander pokemon cards don't do shit either yet here we are.
