I have a trip to Kauai in a few weeks and was looking into what action cam to get. I ended up ordering the X3 because Costco has such a crazy bundle deal on it right now that I couldn't resist. It arrives today. Then yesterday you and a few other creators convinced me that I might as well get the Action 4 because it looks awesome in low light and I was figuring that my wife and I might both enjoy capturing footage at the same time and the Action 4 might be better to use underwater so I ordered one last night. Guess what I'll be ordering today...

Insta360 moving in the right direction with this innovation, but we all want 4k reframed footage. X2 X3 footage is "okay" but could be better. Great video :)

I bought that same camera last year and I was going on a cruise and decided to buy the overpriced invisible dive case since I was gonna do some snorkeling. I was very exited after seeing some of your videos and other YouTubers. Well, I couldn't be more disappointed. I followed all the instructions and still the image quality was horrible. Thanks God I had taken my GoPro 11 and I was able to shoot super nice cinematic underwater videos. I feel like I threw away my money when I bought both, the camera and the case.

Diving deeper isn't the cause of the moisture inside the case, it's due to condensation from the differences in temp between the surface temp where you closed the housing and the water temp. I use the moisture absorber pads in my Gopro and my mirrorless housing, too. I'm eager to get one of these for my next dive trip.

The One X2 is my main b-roll camera for my fishing channel. I really need this for less distortion. As it is now, I have to be aware that the things I want to see are not on the edges of the camera or the distortion is too much.

Now this is a cool accessory! I don’t even own an X3 but I’m stoked for the people that do.
Ps it would be incredibly cool if insta360 could make a way to erase the shadow of the selfie stick as well. That’s always a dead give away 😅.

Does the camera fit in the case with the sticky lens guards on? If it does fit, does it affect the image in any way?

Does it work well with no distortion out of the water? I’m mostly wondering if I’ll need to pop it in and out of the case if I’m at the beach and going in and out of the water.
