I actually just punched this up at nationals yesterday. The strongest ball I had was a radical conspiracy but it was drilled short pin. Everything else went straight even with big surface on it. The RST was fantastic. Thanks to the Storm guys who pointed me toward it. Great review as always. I’m thankful I remembered your statement while I was watching the session before our Doubles/Singles. This ball was the only think I used all 6 games other than of course a spare ball.

Balanced bowler here. Shot 279 out of box first game league Tuesday night. It’s a really good ball. I like it more than my X1

I really think college bowlers will love this as their burn/fresh ball. Usually i always have trouble with a ball hooking to early to play near the gutter, but with the high rg it should allow players to burn the gutter and still be able to play game 1 and 2 instead of dropping down to a step down

I have an RSTX-2 Squad, an overseas ball made available stateside for a while. It is virtually the same ball as the HyperDrive . For me, the Squad is more versatile and carries better than the Gem.

I been following you for years and, as a lefty with similar speed and release, you’ve given me great advice.
I recently added the Hyperdrive to my tournament arsenal and haven’t yet found the magic, especially on longer oil. Can’t seem to get it to line up and turn the corner. I’d love to see YOU review it personally. Also would appreciate your response.

Picked one up yesterday and threw it at league last night...was going great until my ring finger grip popped out and landed halfway down the lane...still struck tho! 😂 I switched to the Rock Star and finished out with a 690 series. Love those 2 balls together. I would also agree with your assessment of the Hyper Drive vs the ION Max. I have them both and they are both extremely similar. However, I LOVE the look/colors of the Hyper Drive over the MAX

Just got the rst hyper drive big fan of the rst core i have all the rst releases stateside now and my favorite one i gotta say is the rst x1 but the x3 is highly up there love the rst x2 as well but being a lefty cant throw it much but i know this ball is going to have alot of play for me

Loved my RST X-1 Back in the day. Thinking about this as a replacement fro my Storm Super Nova since that ball is starting to break down due to damage from heavy use. Do you think this would be close to the super nova or is that more Ion Max area?

Great reviews as always! One question when you get the to iq tour ai, would it be possible to get some footage on a more burnt up condition? Most of the reviews already done are on fresh and not the most likely scenario of where you would throw it. I understand you always throw things on the same shot for consistency but maybe a 2nd lane perrhaps with transition? Thanks as always!

I have to know what's at the top of the camera frame. Is that a fire sprinkler shaking around? Something hanging about the camera lense? Or something hanging from a scoring monitor maybe? I couldn't pay attention to anything else once I saw it. 😵‍💫

What would be an option for a big strong ball as a two-handed, no thumb, low-speed high-rev player? I had the magic gem for ages and sold it to a guy who likes the gem balls.

Arsenal was magic gem, optimum idol, optimum idol pearl, phaze ai, and TNT infused. My question is, "What would be a big strong ball that's a step up from the optimum idol?" I'm thinking maybe crusher, crusher hybrid, black dragon, or physix blackout

Do you this is more useable than the ion max. My ion pro is the absolute nuttiest ball ive ever thrown, just cant miss with it, but I have no idea if they'll be good compliments. If I'm looking for a heavy oil ball im caught between the max and this one
