I just got it. When they ate the bread things and drank the wine believing that it is the body and blood of god, the reason he put his wife in the the food was because he believed his wife was god, that’s why he worshipped her. After they all held up their bowls and drank her blood and ate her body they were all closer to her, closer to god.
