A big endorsement

Prime Minister Stephen Harper led Canada through turbulent economic times, balanced the budget, and made life more affordable for Canadian families.

I was proud to serve in his Cabinet, and it's a big honour to have his support in this leadership race.

Ever since Trudeau took over Canada housing prices went skyrocketing up. Even though different PM's have their benefits and drawbacks, Trudeau murdered affordability for the working class.

I remember back in 2010 at the Vancouver Olympics. The men's hockey team just won gold to put Canada on top of the overall medal standings to close the games. Out in the village everyone was celebrating. They were all decked out in Lululemon and Roots. All sending messages on their Blackberries. The Canadian dollar was at par with the US. Our stock market was roaring. We escaped the mortgage meltdown relatively unscathed. Pm Harper was saying "It's our time to lead". And I believed him. I've never been so proud to be a Canadian. We were on top of the world. Then Trudeau happened and everything went down the toilet. I feel like the country is collapsing. I'm not sure we can reverse the damage he has done.

I can’t remember in all my years when Canada needed saving as much as it does now. I will vote for Poilievre who will have a monstrous job putting Canada back together after Liberal kids in the hall ran rampant since 2015.

Under Harper I never voted Conservative. The Trudeau Liberals showed me what an amazing leader Steven Harper was. Harper put his country before himself. He was a selfless and thoughtful man who worked hard to give us a prosperous future.
Under Trudeau I joined the Conservative party. Last week I submitted my ballot with Pierre as my first choice. Harper's endorsement solidified my choice as the right one. Harper was a great leader. Soon so will Pierre as the 24th Prime Minister of Canada.
