I kind of hoped you'd get to choose one half to stay on the battlefield unflipped.

I really like the concept of the "double-sided BFM", but like that you're putting a lot of energy into offering your opponent a 2-for-1 on a silver tablet.

Love the flavor. Playability? It's a lot of work to go through and will be a "two for one" to a kill spell. They will need to be VERY impactful.

Please please announce how the converted mana cost/colour of the Melded card works as I know recent rules changes means a "flip" card can have colour and converted mana cost usually based on the original side. Is Chittering Host a colourless creature with CMC 0 or a black creature with CMC... what 2 or 5 or 2+5=7?

I don't know, but I love this mechanic looks very twisted, only.. have limitations, is like the fusion summoning of Yugioh, It could have been better if requires types of creatures instead specific cards
