Travel Warning For Tijuana, Baja California

According to the warning issued on March 16, “travelers should remain on main highways and avoid remote locations … of particular concern is the high number of homicides in the non-tourist areas of Tijuana.”

Stick to well populated areas, don't let strangers take you to strange places, don't leave valuables hanging around, be respectful. If you go looking for trouble, it'll find you. Follow the same rules as visiting any big city and you'll be completely fine.
