Finally beat this on Evil (and the Black Labyrinth on Hard! :) ), what an incredible trip this was. Brought me back to my love of Hexen.

I think it's pretty sick that the enemy roster for the void is basically the strongest enemies from the previous worlds

So I've been doing some calculations and I've come to the conclusion that Shrek has no friends. Now you might be thinking of a certain character from the films and getting ready to leave a comment that they are clearly one of Shrek's friends but I can assure you that this is not the case as I will now demonstrate:

• Fiona: this is perhaps the most obvious of Shrek's 'friends' but I put it to you that one cannot be friends with one's wife, case in the point the entire concept of 'escaping the friendszone'.

• Donkey: whilst Donkey clearly likes Shrek, the reverse is not true. Shrek refers to Donkey as an 'irretating beast of burden' and tries to build a wall around his swamp to keep him out. It is clear that Shrek only learns to accommodate Donkey rather than embrace him as a friend.

• Puss in boots: Claws Shrek's balls.

• Dragon: tries to burn Shrek and only helps him out because she loves Donkey.

• Prince Charming and Fairy Godmother: Both clearly hate Shrek.

• Shrek's mother-in-law: wants to be respectful to Shrek but clearly doesn't like him to the point of friendship.

• Shrek's father-in-law: learns to accept Shrek and his daughter's choice of lover but if somebody has tried to have you killed they are not your friend.

• Three blind mice: bite Shrek's ear.

• Three little pigs: wreck Shrek's house.

• Mongo: was brought to life at Shrek's request to serve a specific purpose and can therefore not be considered a friend.

• Gingey: watched his best friend die because of Shrek.

• The muffin man: is only a mutual friend of Shrek and gingey and not a friend in his own right.

• Pinocchio: only helps Shrek as a favour because Shrek freed him from lord Farquaad.

• Big bad wolf: Barley knows Shrek.

• Robbin hood and merry men: tried to kill Shrek because of racism.

• I think this is just about every major character who could even be considered as Shrek's friend. Poor Shrek.

June 20... Interesting. I'm going to have my final exam that day. Coincidence? I don't think so.

This level looks absolutely fantastic with ray tracing and DLSS enabled, but some areas tank the framerate (particularly the level with all the portal doors), hopefully that's something being looked at in patches
