Hello! Thank you so much for explaining how to do that! Just what I needed to get done some homework for my internship! I literally needed a side-by-side display of the original and modified versions of some footage I enhanced the quality of, and so I wanted the full frame of both on display. I tried the Crop effect, and then I adjusted the horizontal position of each version midway through the frame, and BAM! Just what I need.

I needed to make a video and ended up doing a picture-in-picture version instead of side by side because it was of a front and rear camera in a vehicle. Is there anyway to show the initial crop as a transition? For example I'm working on a video where a telephone call takes place and I want a video to slide in to about halfway from the right side when the call is answered and then the telephone call happens and when the call ends I want the second clip to be full screen

Only problem I'm facing now is that after I make cuts to one of the clips, the preview starts cutting around all over the place. Like, it will flicker to earlier in the clip, then stay there, then catch up, then repeat, ETC. It's...frustrating.
