Japan, US stage joint military exercise after North Korea missile launch

Japanese and US military aircraft take part in a joint air drill in airspace over the Sea of Japan. The exercise was held on February 19, in response to North Korea firing an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) that landed in Japan's Exclusive Economic Zone a day earlier, on February 18. The US also staged a similar joint air drill with South Korea.
