Should you play as BEAR or USEC - Escape From Tarkov - Wipe Guide

Don't just jump right into your first raid after wipe. Take a few minutes and set yourself up for success with these tips, tricks, and habits I've refined over the last couple of wipes.

With a wipe you loose all your money, resources, and the flea market. From level 1 to 10, barters are extremely valuable and can help you get through some tough situations and bring in better gear than your opponents. Early wipe is probably one of the best times in the game for me, and the barter system is a big part of that. Everything from Klin to Food is worth far more than just it's face value.

Battle State Game has confirmed Tarkov will Wipe with Patch 12.11 on Wednesday. The servers will go down at 3 AM EST for a yet to be determined amount of time.

After 4 wipes ill finally go USEC so I can understand my own voicelines

I just pick USEC so I can say "Cease Fire" in english. Useful when someone misses a flash and you wanna bait them into pushing you. Also I always organize a few cease fire's at extracts each wipe by spamming the line.

As a solo player not planning on having any in raid PMC interaction, I just can't get over how badass BEAR voicelines are. That and AKs are supreme. So this time around its gonna be BEAR for me!

Was JUST looking this up because I wasn't sure if I should go BEAR for this wipe, since i'll be playing from the start of wipe this time. Perfect timing!
I might just stick with USEC because I seem to aim a lot better with the 5.56 weapons and AK's are really not hard to acquire early on anyways, although I do love the RPK...

Benefits of bear voice lines are that you can often bait players into rushing you thinking you are a scav

for me kits the initial kit means litle becuase a few bad raid and its but to understand(and your enemy to undestand) your trashtalk voice lines is priceless

As I was waiting for raid to commence, I've seen about 30 people queuing at the same time. USEC to BEAR ratio was an astounding 9:1, often reaching 15:1
