CITY OF GLOUCESTER WALK FEATURING GLOUCESTER CATHEDRAL AND DOCKS
"Gloucester Cathedral and Docks”
Filmed 27th May 2024
Post-production completed 9th June 2024
Stepping just outside of the Forest of Dean briefly for this film, I visit the great city of Gloucester.
Just a short walk featured in this film, but I wanted to film around parts of Gloucester as it has always been an important city for me, the reasons of which are revealed here.
There was also an event called the Gloucester Tall Ships Festival, which I wasn’t aware of until I arrived on the day of filming. It meant that I couldn’t get as close to some of the locations as I had hoped, and it got very crowded, but it didn’t spoil my day or stop any of my filming.
Filmed in the city of Gloucester. Locations include Gloucester Cathedral, Gloucester Docks, Gloucester Quays and Gloucester Park.
Written, presented, researched, directed, camera and sound, edited and music by Patrick Leach.
Special thanks to Visit Gloucester for their information used in my research for this film.
"The Solitary Rambler" is my series of amateur films of my journeys in the countryside accompanied by my own musical scores, which I compose and perform on my Yamaha keyboard.
Please note that, as with all the films I make, this is not actually intended to be an extensive guide to the area. This is a mini-movie of my personal journey along the walk, in which I often share some of my own personal stories.
DISCLAIMER: Although I work hard to ensure all information is correct to the best of my knowledge, I am only featuring information I have found online and/or in books during my research when putting this film together, so I cannot guarantee that there are no mistakes or errors.

Many thanks and I hope you enjoy watching!
