This was a game I was genuinely surprised by. This was a Ninjala situation where it was an announcement in a Nintendo Direct, but not many talked about it until it released. And just like Ninjala, I'm loving KO City so far, it's genuinely stupid fun and these team-based action games are becoming one of my favorite genres for multiplayer. Seriously, *don't* sleep on these games, especially if you like Splatoon

I saw nintendo Life with a cartoon clown on the cover and thought “another Balan Wonderworld discussion? I down.” But this was a pleasant surprise.

I feel they should of taken the idea of having different art styles for the characters shown within the interview trailer and incorporated into the actual game. Having a 2D pixel-based princess character would have really made this game stand out.

I love KO City's gameplay loop much more compared to something like Ninjala. With a steady flow of updates and tweaks, KO City could have a very, very long lifespan.

I think this one will really suffer from player drop-off. Like most niche multiplayer games, I don’t trust that I’ll be able to find a match quickly 1 or 2 years from now.
