How will Brexit affect British citizens traveling to the European Union?

Here at Nomad Capitalist, we've received thousands of inquiries from UK citizens looking to obtain dual citizenship in order to protect themselves from Brexit.

But here's the thing... visa-free travel for UK citizens likely won't change much. While you may lose EU freedom of movement, you will still be able to visit the EU as a tourist.

If you want a job or university education in the EU, that could be a problem. But for the rest of us, chances are you'll be just fine.

ABOUT NOMAD CAPITALIST

Andrew Henderson is the world's most sought-after consultant on legal offshore tax reduction, investment immigration, and global citizenship. He works exclusively with six- and seven-figure entrepreneurs and investors who want to "go where they're treated best".

Andrew has spent the last 11 years studying and personally implementing the Nomad Capitalist lifestyle, and has started offshore companies, opened offshore bank accounts, obtained multiple second passports, and purchased real estate in a total of 20 countries.

He has also spent years creating a behavior-based system that helps people get the results they want faster and with less resistance. Andrew believes that everyone can use offshore strategies to keep more of their own money, live a life of freedom, and grow their wealth faster.

I highly recommend the Republic of Georgia as a good base outside of the UK as they changed the visa requirements for British Nationals. You no longer need a visa to travel to georgia and you can live in Georgia for up to 12 months before getting one. Cheap and safe country.

Neither the UK nor Republic of Ireland are members of Schengen. However there is a Common Travel Area (CTA)agreement between ROI and UK since the 1920's which to-date is to be unaffected by Brexit.

Average 100 pounds for a new passport. The English government will make a lot of money off of the people.

It's basically what's happening with the Canadian, Albanian Georgian Bosnian Australian or New Zealand Citizens. The UK citizens will just be treated like any other Third Country who do not need visa to travel to EU.

I wonder how many passports Andrew Henderson ( the narrator ) has. The Daily Mail is hailing Brexit and one of the things it points out to its readers is that we ( us Britons ) will now be able to go to a country in The European Union and stay there for 90 days in any one year without having to purchase a visa ( that is if they are willing to sell us one ), not mentioning that up until recently we could spend 366 days a year in any EU country without a visa.
What a coup, eh ?

Andrew, thank you for your video, however what you're saying is all very well, but does it work for people who have a salaried job in the EU and are being paid an average salaried wage? I would like to ask you, what happens to those people after a No Deal brexit? I'm not a tourist who is there for a short time, but I'm living in the EU and I have a job and a life there. as far as I can see, we fall between two stools, how can we have our rights protected. Please write briefly back, I am concerned!

Even if travel arrangements change substantially (which they will not), it would have been worth it to leave. Pay no attention to the clowns in the media saying the sky will fall in.

If there is no deal you'll need a visum. So don't forget to pay the 39 Billion bill first!
You will also not be allowed to use the EU track.
On the other hand you'll be allowed to buy duty free cigarettes :-)

We have lived the freedom to go wherever you want in the EU countries, it is now very difficult to go to work in the EU countries, you have to pay the visa and pay more taxes.from freedom to jail

I am a British citizen with hong kong permanent residence. I think you are right. it is not very important for nomad capitalist to get a eu passport. because most of the eu countries are heavily taxed. I would probably choose Gibraltar and hong kong as my base as I am an financial investor.
