The ARP 2600 is a legendary semi-modular synthesizer first introduced in 1971, and Korg’s version brings this vintage synth into the modern era with additional filters, envelopes, and effect units. Developed by Korg’s R&D team in the US, it shares many features with the Modwave and Wavestate synths.

I didn't get your answer "I will give it a try" and I'll let you know why, a couple of hours later I was watching a video and I learned that you have to use the fx version of the Arp to process an outside source like an audio recorded drum loop or a microphone. Now I wanted to ask you something else that is bugging me, is there a way to avoid the sequencer from restarting every time you hit the keyboard ? even if I'm holding another key if I touch a second key it triggers the sequencer, is there an option ? Thanks again

Hi, I was wandering if it is possible to route a microphone or an electric guitar through the Arp. With the Arp from Arturia you can do that using the side chain option, now, Korgs don't have side chain and that's why I'm asking. I didn't get how did you make the drums go through the synth. Thanks for your help.

I'm liking this better than the Arturia ARP 2600 V so far.

Hi, very nice work!, I have a question, and sorry if it very obvious, but why sometimes the sequencers lights are on following the steps and sometimes are off?

The question is, how does it compare to other 2600 emulations. As the other additions to the collection are an EP and an organ I don’t see paying $99 now for an upgrade. I have the Cherry 2600 and the Arturia but the Arturia is rather old and cherry audio also not always has the most exact emulations.

Having owned an original ARP-2600 Grey version in the 80ties I can testify that the sound of this Korg 2600 comes very close. I'm also very pleased to see that they included SYNC possibility of the VCO's, something the original was lacking from. And ofcourse the ARP 1601 sequencer had to be integrated as well. Cudoos Korg

How the Korg compares with Arturia and Cherry Audio emulations?
I have both and looking at your demo, they all basically sound the same.
Also I think Arp 2600 is one of those synths that you really need to experience in hardware,
using a mouse or a midi controller is too much inefficient and slow
