You can definitely hear the changes in Mayer's voice. From Pre-Room for Squares, to room for squares, to the raspy as/is-Heavier things. To The trio/continuum. to this performance/WTLI, battle studies, and his darker tone as of recent.

Truly a well written song. Strong performance as usual from John. The Xanax helps...heh. He truly is the next Clapton and Eric agrees. Eric says John has no idea just how connected to the instrument and what power he wields don't understand how there are ever any thumbs down on a John Mayer performance as he pours his entire soul into what he does. The man may have been an ego addict, but he has truly grown and has years to refine himself and his art. I cannot wait to see what he is like in another twenty years. He will be extraordinary!
