Mourinho was correct when he said his best season was 2nd place ManU.

Never forget when Gary Neville said Man United would finish above Liverpool and that Man U has a better midfield than Liverpool. Utter delusion at this moment in time.

Manchester United 8 points clear of relegation with game in hand.

Let’s be honest here, this is the season Utd have needed for about 5 years now. Stop putting plasters on the issues but really get to the root of issues. The players are being found out big style, only 3 or 4 are worth sticking with. I only hope Amorin sticks to his system and principles. Given time I’m sure things improve

The manager is making it brutally clear to the owners that these players are dross.

Utd are in trouble if Garnacho and Rashford are "big players".

Met Jamie Carragher a few years ago in a hotel.

After talking about football and that night in Istanbul I mentioned that I was in the area to do some trainspotting.

Now, I’m not saying that Jamie is a trainspotter but his knowledge of track gauge, horsepower, coal and electric trains was amazing.

Cool guy.

Speaking of Van Gaal, was getting rid of Van Gaal the stupidest decision that Man Utd have made amongst a myriad of stupid decisions in the last decade and a bit? He had righted the ship, was beginning to bring some youth through, and was giving them a base to build on. Then they torched it with a flamethrower, and it has been downhill ever since. But at least they aren't boring now, I guess. They have been incredibly entertaining ever since - at least if you aren't a Man Utd fan.

We’ve brought some mediocre players and given them superstar wages. It’s the not the manager’s fault

Let's listen to what Gary Neville has to say. The man revolutionised Valencia and Spanish Football. How he hasn't gotten the Man Utd job is beyond me....

The fact that he said the players aint fit enough says alot. Playing for man united is like a celebrity performance rather than being an athletic team.

Amorim literally said about 2/3 weeks ago that it would get worse before it gets better, why is everyone using this soundbite now?

I think a lot of people were questioning the transfers made actually. Ugarte was at PSG and hadn’t settled, De ligt had been at Juve and Bayern and not settled and Mazzroui was being let go for cheap money by Bayern it’s just United fans who thought that they’d fit well. The writing was on the wall

Listen Man Utd might not thank me, but get the contract out, put it on the table, let him sign it, let him write whatever numbers he wants to put on there given what he's done since he's come in. Amorim's (Ole 5.0) at the wheel man. He's doing it! He's doing his thing!! MAN UTD ARE BACK!!!

if Wolves, Everton and Leicester can stick some wins in a row, there is a decent chance that Man United could actually get relegated

If Amorim changes his system, he may as well walk out the door. When Pep came to city, he had to buy 3 different goal keepers until he found one that fit, 4 different right backs and an unholy amount of cb’s. Klopp was also allowed spend within reason to shape the team to what he wanted. They didn’t go against their way of playing after bad results. Amorim has been brought in by Ineos & the glazers to play a system the players aren’t able to play and they club are saying ‘ah well we have no money to buy any other players’. No wonder Ineos’ project with Nice didn’t do well, they are absolutely clueless. Why bring a manager who has such a specific style of play in and not allow them to get players suited to that style.
As a united fan I kinda do hope we get relegated because it’ll ruin the finances of the club so much that no cost cutting measures from Ineos like getting rid of the dinner ladies will be enough and they may cut their losses and sell their share

It is disingenuous to not acknowledge the fact that amorim came at a time where its a game every 3 days hardly giving time to fully implement his system while simultaneously not over tire certain players by using them day in and out..He has to stick to his system and us real fans must support him through this tough phase and allow for new signings in jan. Man United's undoing is allways mainstream media driven and i dont know why we the fans and players alike dont turn a blind eye to the constant agenda based pandering..
