I did a gig with my Dad at our local in Brighton and Gary turned up to jam with us, I was on cajon. I went for a piss in the break and some young guy in the toilets was on the phone to his mate telling them it was the first gig he'd ever been to and he couldnt believe how great it was. I felt like saying do you know who those two guys are on guitars? I thought better of it and laughed to myself. He died a few weeks later, think I may well have been the last drummer to play with him. It was a great night

I made the choice for myself. Gary Moore's version of Voodoo Child is the best.Gary is for me the best Rock / Bluesrock Gittarist to date! Jimmy was the pioneer of a new generation and deserves my greatest respect !!
SRV is one of the best guitarists without question, but his version is dominant Blues. Each his preference, great musicians were all! R.I.P. and play together!
