Everyone Loves NBA 2K22! But Why? Official Review

For real though this games awesome like genuinely most fun ive had on 2k since 19 game feels amazing especially on next gen and even the side missions you can do have been avoiding mycareer games for ages cause its so fun

The gameplay is so much smoother this year. It feels so much better. Also I always combine 2 of my favorite players jump shots every year hoping they finally make these 2 legends have good jump shots. They finally made 2 of my favorite players have good jump shots and I like to combine them together hoping it would make a viable option. Also it's cool getting to pay homage to one of the original NBA video games ever made with real NBA players. Which these two players where the star of. Finally this year they made it work and now I can coast around shooting with two if my favorite players jump shots combine. Kudos 2k you did a lot right this year. #2k

The game actually takes skill for the first time in awhile. Feels balanced & smooth. Gameplay is great, no bugs really, fun, & having good vibes so far.

For the first time in a long while 2k kept things simple while still giving us great gameplay and a skill gap system. You actually have to know how to play basketball to succeed in 2k22 unlike other games where all yu had to do was call for a iso with a superstar. It almost feels like your penalized for running iso too much- the other day I was playing someone online and of course he picks the lakers and all he did was call iso for Lebron and Westbrook and try to speed boost to the rim, it worked for a while but towards the middle of the 2nd quarter it’s almost like my defense adapted on its own, we were trapping and recovering much faster and he started turning to ball over.

Another thing I like that 2k22 fixed is the open jump shot system. In 21 you can be WIDE open but unless you green it your most likely going to miss. In 22’ if your open 9 times out of 10 it’s going in. But you *Have to* be open other wise you’re bricking it

Simple things that 2k need to fix...

- Add our VC balance on the screen when in the city
- Customisations to some hair styles have been removed (length, fade etc)
- For years now, we have not been able to try on accessories when at the stores
- Rotating a player in the store is not smooth either
- Implement a skip song button
- On certain courts at parks the camera angle gets stuck inside the building making it a black screen (inbound the ball and its fine)
- Should be able to mix facial hairs together
- Invisible barriers in the city between trees and building etc
- Pro Am stats/records aren't being recorded sometimes
- Player zoom back to 3 when shooting on/inside the line
- Frame skip and lag when skateboarding
- Why can we buy Nike elite socks in the NBA but not for the city?
- ADD THE VC BALANCE WHEN ROAMING!!

What’s funny is I played 2K since 2K5 so after 2K21 I lost all excitement especially because REC looked same. So only reason I got 2K22 was for my birthday weekend. And 2K definitely surprised me 😂😂😂😂 all the years of wanting a good game they snuck up
On me with this one! 10/10

i think everyone is saying 2k22 current gen is good bc majority us don't have the consoles. these content creators just on it for the views lets be real... people ain't watching next gen build videos when they can't make a build. might as well play current for the money while having an ok experience we ain't naive
