Carp Fishing With The Guru Hybrid Feeder

For this latest episode we head to the Barford Lakes, with the aim of trying to catch a few fish on the Guru Hybrid Feeder.

At this time of year when the water is very cold, and the fish very lethargic, the Guru Hybrid can be an excellent tool to have in your angling armoury.

To find out exactly how we got on and to perhaps find out a few tips along the way, watch this latest installment, from the waters edge.

As usual we hope you enjoy it and any feedback is always much appreciated.

I've really taken to these feeders especially the mini 24g, just the right amount of feed for winter, really enjoyed the video as usual.

fishing at Barford is rlly tough this winter but a single 15mm pellets and popups are doing the trick this year

Great video again lads, thanks for doing the underwater demo of the feeder as its given me the confidence to give the hybrid feeder a try. it should work better than the method on the club water Im joining as its around 5 to 6 feet deep. keep it up!

I think you're right, most of the pellets will definitely come off after the feeder has hit the water. If you think about it, is travelling at 30 or 40 miles an hour, that's one hell of an impact. However, I noticed you had some of that sticky mix stuff I found that if you add some of that to the pellets feeder, they stick like concrete in the feeder, you could cast a hundred and 50 yards and they will all stay on. However always sure whether that's a really good idea. Sometimes I have wound in after half an hour and every single pellet is still in place on the feeder.

Hi,
great video, could you explain a bit more about the Flying Back Lead set up and what you use as a stop ?

What bead are you using between the hook length and feeder?

Do you think you'd have caught as well on a micro pellet feeder or even a banjo? Would be good to do a direct comparison.
