During World War II, snipers did not shoot soldiers who were defecating or urinating. Another target that was also not eliminated, was nurses. Cold-blooded snipers are also human beings, and sparing the life of a beautiful nurse was something they could concede.

However, this informal rule was not granted to the soldiers that the paramedics were trying to save on the battlefield.

Another unwritten rule of the snipers was regarding water. In established sectors of the battle front, both the Red Army and the German Army agreed not to shoot at water carriers.

However, the commanders often didn't care about these informal rules, and would give orders for the snipers to take out the enemy, while the enemy, missed the target on purpose. Both sides knew that if they shot the enemy's water carrier, his carrier would also be eliminated, and everyone would suffer from thirst.

They didn't actually care they'd shoot medics they'd shoot wounded over and over again nurses were rarely on the field but when they were they were targets as well. Water carriers were shot in hopes to scare to many and to make the other side suffer.

It’s better to be a warrior in a garden than a Gardner in a war. Some people commenting can cry all they want, but human nature will never change. And one day you may be crying for a soldier to protect your life home and family from other men seeking to take it from you.
