Agreed. The assembly instructions are horrible !! Steps 5 & 6 related to the "cage" or "top screen" and "door screen" are basicly useless. As stated here, J & K and L & M are not stamped or marked in the box. I had to look at the photo on the box to finish. >>> That's pathetic. Hampton needs to hire people who use the English language as their primary language.

Suggestion: Spray paint with High Heat Black paint. I've read some customers had rust after first use. I sprayed mine before assembling and haven't had any issues and it looks great!

I'm thinking about getting this unit and like that there is a retractable top cover cage. Does it protect against sparks flying everywhere?

Have one of these. We left it uncovered during one rain storm and it already showing signs of rust. Not the best fire pit. Going to go with a stone one soon.

Just built this but was missing 2 hex bolts. The hotline wait time was above 1.5 hrs and I couldn't stay on hold any longer, do you know the size of the hex bolts so i can just go buy 2 more
