This week, we continue the ribboned staircase at the Refurbishment project, prepare for a new project to start in central London, buy parts for the Silo incase it breaks down, just as a lorry breaks down in front of it anyway, then @DanielAshvilleOfficialgives his breakdown of the budget and how he feels it will impact the country.

Hello Daniel. I have the deepest respect and admiration that you not only are sharing the good and easy days, but you also are sharing the challenging and more difficult days and decisions you have to make. Life isn't always a dance on roses, that's the reality, it's always the best to say the truth, that's my personal opinion 😊😊😊

Irrespective of the subject matter in these videos, we still enjoy it. You have to know it's you and the team that we like seeing.

I am praying for Ashville’s elevated success in 2025! There is plenty of room at the table for every good construction firm to eat! May God continue to flood you with wisdom, power, strength and resources Daniel🙏🏽 Through many toils and snares, you WILL overcome!!!

Daniel. One of the reasons I enjoying watching these videos for almost 2 years is that you and your team bring a perspective about life as a business owner and what businesses go through on a daily bases. I am not a business owner but your opinions and decisions that you have made I believe bring value to anyone who watches these videos. Do not apologize about explaining the situation that Ashville is going through. I personally going through a tough situation after being laid off from my job after company I worked for has hired contract workers to take over the work I was doing. This is the second time that has happened to me but this time but I am finding it more difficult looking for a new job since I am now over 60 years old. It inspires me to continue to look for a job when I see you and Ashville work through these difficult times. Thanks

I genuinely love the transparency in all of these videos, never trying to hide negative things happening within the Buisness. Always finding solutions to problems, and most of all caring for your staff in the best way possible! I’m a small business owner and your channel really helps give a good outlook on business and finance matters in all aspects!
FAIR PLAY TO YOU!

Keep em coming please

I know how you feel buddy. You can hear it in your voice, I feel the same. 18-hour days....it just sucks the life out of you. Then you have to put it all on camera for the world to see! I've a lot of respect for you buddy! Keep going 👌😎

One thing your volumetric concrete mixers have over the Ready Mix Concrete, is they are not restricted by travel distance or time before the concrete starts to set, so i would consider it more of an advantage as the ready mixers tend to need to get to locations and dump before concrete goes off. Having worked as an inspecting engineer for an engineering firm, one job was almost comprised due to the truck getting stuck in traffic, as it was travelling for an extended period. Where there is struggle, there is opportunity and I'm sure you will overcome your own struggles, in time.

Hello, I have been in business for 30 years, went through 2 bad recessions, I take my hat off to you, I love your positivity, love how you are always trying to prepare and eliminate possible future problems, I think you are on another level with forward thinking and true entrenpener, you are mad as a hatter in a nice way, i know you will overcome the recent setbacks, the new yard must be costing an absoulute fortune but you want it done asap, as is the maintainence of all your plant, You are 20 years younger than me and have probably achieved more than i have, In my experience I have only had only had 3 things what could of and did end my businesses, Invoice Discounting (Factoring) Bad debt and not keeping tabs on my expenditure, Its a massive balancing act, But i'm sure you will find a way out, I love watching your videos and know you will turn it all around and come out the other end victorious

As an American its nice to hear soemone talk about politics with compassion and empathy/ an ability to see other POVs instead if jdut their own self intrests. Very refreshing.

Terminating HS2 at Old Oak Common was insane. All the time, materials, and money invested in the corridor and all the property and land purchases, demolition, enablement works etc was waisted. Old Oak Common would have required a redesign. Any time advantage would be lost with the passenger interchange at OOC. In the end, with the additional works to fudge this, you end up with a poor compromise that makes very little savings over completing the project as originally planned.
It's a similar story in Manchester. £85m on a new chord between Manchester Piccadilly and Victoria stations, then the next phase to increase capacity along the Castlefield corridor and Piccadilly's through platforms (13 & 14) was cancelled. Net result is the Ordsall Chord is now a white elephant as there isn't the route capacity for it to be used as intended. Just one train per hour uses it. It should have been at least four per hour.
The trouble is we have career politicians who have never worked in the real world.

Thanks for the latest edition, always good to see it’s not just me that’s in the lonely washing machine of life while running a business. Your thoughts and opinions are great to hear as like you I watched the budget and let’s say the cost will be high and make life tougher, but 100% agree it’s good to speak and share with other business. Good luck with whatever the challenges are, look after you though and wish you all the best my friend! 🙏👍

The editor has done you dirty. When you were explaining that it's tough, a violin starts playing in the background 😂
