I remember Pete from way back at a jazz summer school at Pimlico school in London! Brian spring, Brian Abrahams and Ted Mc Kenna and Trevor Tomkins on drum duties together with the best of British jazz! The usual madness of 10 or so drum kits set up around a class room and all sorts of ensemble playing. Just a magical time really, now Petes giving back! Pete was just one of the students then. I saw him at a gig a few years later and he said he was studying the tablas....OMG!
