How to Emulate the Wii U Gamepad (Cemu 1.26+ Tutorial) // Wind Waker Demo Example

This is my setup I use to play Cemu (Wii U) games through emulation! For a variety of reasons I prefer to play through emulation over original hardware (I own a Wii U, but Ultrawide is so enticing)

Hey, to add to this, if you happen to be an artist and have a drawing display (any drawing display should work), you can plug it in and use it for the gamepad view. won't have capability for gyro, though

If anyone is looking for options on Linux, the easiest way is to just setup a VNC server on the PC and then use the Android app AVNC to connect the remote desktop. Then just set a separate winodw in Cemu and tick the option in general settings to remeber the position and you are good to go. On Wayland Plasma, it comes with the application Kfrb preinstalled, which can be used. On X11 tigervnc is an easy possibility.

Thank you that helped also if you want a better controller without paying to nintendo the 8bitdo pro 2 also has gyro, and works with cemu you just have to switch it to the "S" and also update firmware!

Is there a way to just use it as a separate window with a mouse? I can bring up the CEMU gamepad in a separate window in XCX (or with shift-tab) but cant use it. Thanks.

I want to know if there is some way to turn off the gamepad screen to not use it in any game (except those that it is mandatory) at all, like if it is turned off in Wii U system settings using the home buttom, what is non-existent in the emulator. Some games even using the pro controller configuration act like if the gamepad screen being used, like Monster Hunter 3. Someone know how to turn it off for good?

Very nice. I've recently buffed my desktop a little bit, so I guess it can emulate Wii U now. Too bad Windows 10 never reconnects the Pro Controller, forcing me to unpair it and then pair it again...
