To your point that God isn't continually "working" to uphold His creation, I totally agree and good point. It also occurs to me that God did all His work in 6 days and rested on the 7th.... which I think further backs up your point.

If God does not intervene in our lives, there is no need for prayer. Prayer would be useless.

Great video. One of my pastors offered a book on the "Doctrine of Election". I politely refused and explained that I am not reading extra biblical books at this time. He was dumbfounded and I explained that I want to read God's word and not be influenced by someone else's theological beliefs.

17:50 the idea that Peterson suggests... that God requires sin to exist that his holiness can be displayed is Eastern Mysticism... 'ying/yang' ... Biblically, was God's holiness not on display in heaven before sin was "found" in Lucifer??? I think not! Nowhere in scripture does God say he desires to display his 'wrath'. Neither does he creates a situation for that express purpose. This is nonsense. God's wrath is only a response to rebellion. Scripture says God is 'long suffering'....
