A 7 Days Journey to Most Beautiful Trek of India | Kashmir Great Lakes Trek

I've always heard in songs, stories, and poetry that Kashmir is heaven. After traveling through Kashmir’s roads, I realized the real beauty lies beyond them. The Kashmir Great Lakes Trek took me through the untouched and unexplored side of Kashmir, where I saw the most breathtaking views of my life.
Starting from Sonmarg, we trekked 12.5 km to Nichnai Valley, a journey that left me exhausted. From there, we continued to Vishansar Valley, which looked like a scene from a Pixar movie. Along the way, we crossed Gadsar Pass and saw the serene Gadsar Lake. Then came the trek's highlight—the Zaj Pass. From there, we witnessed the majestic view of Nundkol and Gangbal Lakes, relaxing peacefully at the foothills of Mount Harmukh.
After covering a total of 80 km in 6 days, we completed this unforgettable trek at Naranag.

I just love trekking and beauty of being youthful is no matter how much my muscles are swore at the end of the day it’s always completely healed by the morning. The hardest trek of my life has been covering 45km in a single day while being awake for 18 hours. We took quite a lot of time because some of my friends got injured. I think it costed us 6 hours because of that unfortunate injury. But no matter how tough it is i just love doing it specially in steep high cliffs where your legs feels like giving up and that feeling breathless while breathing amazing fresh air. That just gives me so much joy. I get so much energy and boost to my ego that Im made for the mountains. I’m from Nepal and a lot of the places don’t have roads in the remotes Himalayan region which just gives crazy access to amazing long treks.
