6:10 "all these devil things" I believe people started looking for hidden messages in the reverse playing of songs during the "Satanic Panic" era of the 70's and 80's. So, of course, people looked for words that sounded like satan or devil or what they would think of as evil messages. People assumed these messages could actually have some kind of subliminal effect on a person's mind, and so were very dangerous. The thing is they equated the phrases existing with the phrases working. I don't remember hearing about any studies being done to actually prove these backward messages worked on affecting the mind. But that didn't stop people from railing against it and calling out bands as Satanists. Of course, then you had some bands play into it by intentionally putting hidden messages to get that publicity.

The Beatles were actually the first in music history to put reversed instruments in their songs, with Rain, I'm Only Sleeping, and Tomorrow Never Knows, all 3 in 1966. They weren't the first to have any reversed sound in their music, though, Car Trouble by The Eligibles in 1959 has a hidden reversed sentence in it.

Edit: It's not hidden at all actually lol, but it's just a reversed sentence, not really music.

There is a bit in Britney Spears "...Baby one more time" in the chorus where if you play it backwards she says "sleep with me I'm not too young" and I always found it kind of disturbing since she was so sexualized at such a young age...
