WOW this is superb advice. I’ve heard this referred to before as ‘smoothing’ but this video made it click for me. I’m 3k hours and actively working on my pre-aiming, this will for sure help me get better with the “big gap” angles 🙏

I've never thought of clearing angles like that

Preaiming works only if I know for sure that enemy is there. Otherwise it's just bad practice to not hardclear every single possible angle enemy could be at along the way. It also better maintains discipline for my aim and movement.

As the entry fragger in my friend group, this unfortunately doesnt apply to me. I run out, pick one angle to look at, and kill the guy there if hes there. If he's not, I tell my friends and they still fail to kill the guy.
