The oldschool runescape economy has been changing a lot leading up to 2025! We have so much to cover with massive price movements happening in a ton of market areas.

One of the biggest trends is the massively lower main game player counts as many players have moved to leagues. With less players the effect of bots are felt much more. We honestly have so much to cover!

The sun fire mask went up because it’s a clue step and it’s the cheapest of the set, so it’s more attractive to have in the stash since it meets the requirements and is cheap.

When the league started I hopped on ge-tracker and saw someone had been randomly buying desert boots for like 70k. I went to al kharid, bought a bunch, popped them on the ge for 50k. Between leagues and real life, I forgot about it... logged in to them all being sold. I was kinda hoping it would make an obscure blip in the graph, but you can't even tell. Sad days.

League shop is actually open year round EXCEPT when leagues are ongoing. Probably why some league items get manipulated so heavily during leagues.

Granite maul is rising probably because it gets destroyed when lost and converted to gp if it has the ornate handle attachment. People are starting to realize it’s a non-cycling item and only way to get them is through slayer. So the overall Granite Maul stock(# of items in game) is decreasing.

I suspect that shattered cane, because of it's limited supply, has over time been bought up to an almost complete monopoly to drive the prices up for massive profit

I suspect people are collecting the cane. They’re one of the few rare items in the game. Buy up all of the stock, boost the price so people will buy it and bring more into the game for you to collect.

Jagex has mentioned in the past the idea of removing items from the game to control prices... any chance the weird things we're seeing with Granite Mauls is really Jagex removing a bunch of supply?

The cane might be manipulated upwards to try and make people waste points on old rewards so the new rewards will be of lower volume and thus making them worth more?
It's a long shot, but it might be a factor.

the thing about the cane is it comes with the full set from leagues, and i dont think there were a lot of people getting the set cuz thats like 15k pts for a cosmetic fit only merchants use money on
