17mpg city / 23mpg freeway?? What a terrible gas guzzling little engine. 2.5L turbo and 305hp gets 17mpg city?? HORRIBLE. WTF is causing it to drink fuel so badly? My 5.5L AMG CL55 V8 with a 2.2L supercharger making 585HP in a 4100LB luxury GT Coupé gets 14MPG City and 21mpg freeway.  There is no excuse for that WRX to be so damn inefficient. If it had 450HP then that would be a different story. Oh well, everything else I like about the car- I bet it's great fun on tight mountain roads.

They should have a quiet mode where the exhaust muffler system has a solenoid that will shunt the exhaust through quiet mufflers when you want it quiet. So if you want to sneak into the neighborhood or out of the neighborhood late at night you don't wake everybody up even if you barely press on the gas at all. 
Being loud all the time isn't good.

Also the MPG, why can't it get decent MPG if you stay out of the boost by being real light with the throttle? Auto start stop would be nice with a button to disable it of course

you've got to compromise somewhere Aydinvideo. It's got AWD and pretty short gearing...those two definitely don't equate to amazing fuel mileage. if you can stay out of boost by skip-shifting.. it would help a lot too!

lol as always everyone is complaining on the looks of every subaru that comes out year after year. but in the end, the looks will eventually grow on u and ull be like dam! it looks good!

evo fan here. i was gonna get a new model evo but then i heard they are discontinuing it... sad. at least this looks kinda like an evo.

The sti is cool but the fact that in the wrx you get a newer powertrain and newer steering system is kind of weird. The wrx is modern while the sti stays old school. The thing that really makes it better are it's differentials.

Im wondering how good the quality of the parts is (transmision, suspension, gearbox, etc). Are they better than the average premium cars?

disagree I think the best model for the sti was 2004-2005 model not saying that the hawkeye was bad but that 2004-2005 was amazing it was original and had everything right on point my opinion I currently don't like the  new model but hey we love subis so no matter.
