I miss Bangalore of the 1990s, back then it was truly a garden city and commuting by just walking around was such a pleasure. No pollution, fantastic weather. Public transport was crowded but still manageable.

India needs urban planning...this problem is happening in tier 1 cities for now but soon it will reach tier 2 and 3 too.

🙏It's not just Karnataka, central govt should take important steps to have job opportunities to be available in other states as well, this will balance crowd and save resources like water, agricultural land, lakes, trees. This is SERIOUS ISSUE 🙏

All metro cities in India are suffering from the same problem. Because of illegal construction, the unorganised structure of the city and Canals.

Cars can destroy the best of societies if left unrestricted and unregulated.
Walkability and modern public transport is an absolute necessity.

I lived in Bangalore for 5 years I love it it's safe, nice weather and nice people. All these problems can be fixed if govt and people work mutually to make this a better place.

Corruption destroyed banglore completely

BLR was so much focused on IT that they forgot to invite great civil engineers & city planners to build the city which can justify the name silicon valley. The layout system looks totally screwed up on satellite & aerial views.

The True fact is
The most of the so called local people are from TN KL AP in Bangalore. The original KA people are truly gentle and polite. Just because outsiders looks similar to them and speaks Kannada fluently people got scammed about BLR 😢

I had lived in Bengaluru for 5 years, now happily settled in Pune.
Traffic is very stressful in Bengaluru. If you spend 4 hours traveling everyday, it's hazardous to your health and family.

In my company Pune and Mumbai employees are still fighting with Bengaluru management for WFH, I don't know why Bengalurueans loves travel.

12:38 This tanker mafia is also a source of problem in Delhi too, and they are bad in two ways: obviously corruption and affordability issues but secondly they use borewells and reduce the groundwater level which is already getting very low.

Bangalore peaked in 2015, shud have stopped there. Things got so bad post-pandemic, I started traveling & living out of my suitcase just to avoid being in Bengaluru. The times I would be in Bangalore, I hated it, wasting my life in traffic, it was extremely frustrating.

Finally, September 2023, after traveling all over the country, I decided to make Delhi my new home. Delhi's excellent transport infrastructure is a diametric opposite to Bangalore's beyond pathetic public transport.

Delhi has a bad rep, but I found the people here a lot more open & welcoming.
