In a matter of plot, Orange, the lyricist to the song, said that the theme is "at the age of 14, the twins hitting puberty". With only that to grasp, both Orange and Signal-P said that the song could be interpreted in any way; may it be lead to a rather famous interpretation on the twins being romantically interested with each other, or the refusal of having to grow up.

Also in this song, they aren't in a sibling kind of relationship! They're childhood friends.. Len is a knight/butler of Rin. But because of the forbidden relationship, their parents disagree.

Back then, as a faithful knight of Rin, they treated each other as siblings. But when they got to their senses, all of it broke down and they realized that they're not kids anymore.

For the last time, Len visited Rin's bedroom but Rin didn't want him to leave causing her to cry and we know what happens next–

Ok so my interpretation
Rin and Len are twins as implied. But this is not however a romantic song. They just get along unlike most siblings and see each other as best friends. The lyrics that "Imply romance" can be interpreted differently. Like "their alone time" could be their exchange of secrets and acting younger than there age and playing childish games when most would tell them to grow up hence the name "adolescence". I cannot ever find myself to ship them. They have always been twins in y head and i just cant force myself to think otherwise. I don't know about other places but being in a relationship with your sibling is illegal so them dating as twins makes me feel icky. That's why I see this story like this.
