PDF Accessibility: Lists

Показать описание
This video looks at how to make lists accessible in a PDF document.

If you are familiar with HTML, you have probably heard about ordered and unordered lists. Ordered lists use numbers or letters, while unordered lists use symbols. In PDF files, both types of list are tagged the same way.

This is very good. I appreciate you a) getting right to it, b) going through step by step but also not belaboring each step, and c) explaining the whys.

I found that trying to follow along with the instructions failed for me. I wasn't seeing the space to be able to select and pick label as my pdf already showed P for the 3 items in the second list. Tried several time then did the auto tag document under accessibility and it did the work so much faster, although it ended up making sections too.

Thank you for showing this. It taught me a great deal. I wanted to know: Is it possible to make a multi-tiered list accessible-- There is <L>, <LI>, <Lbl><LBody>, <LI>, <Lbl><LBody> -- but under the 2nd <LBody> there is a start of another level of lists. How would I go about making that accessible? I have tried simply sticking the Lbls and LBodys in and under the 2nd LBody, but it came back with an error. It was a bulleted paragraph with another level of bulleted material under the primary bullets.
