This video demonstrates a lift from the bed to a wheelchair using a Molift Air.

Roll the person onto one side. Lay the sling next to the person so that the ribbed part lines up with their spine and push it slightly underneath them. Roll the person onto their back so that they are on top of the sling. Make sure the sling is sitting flat on the bed. Pull the two leg straps up between the person's thighs so that each strap is curled comfortably under each thigh. Place the red strap from one leg through the loop in the other leg strap. Move the ceiling hoist so that the cradle is hanging a few centimetres above the person. Loop the top two straps of the sling (located near the person's shoulders) to the front two hooks on the cradle. Loop the two leg straps to the two back hooks on the cradle using the loop formed by the grey strap closest to the end of the strap. Raise the hoist, ensuring that all straps are hooked on properly, and move the person so that they are hanging above the wheelchair. Lower the person onto the wheelchair until they are sitting comfortably in the chair and the cradle is not supporting any of their weight. Unhook the four straps of the sling. Move the cradle out of the way. Pull the sling out from underneath the person. You may need to lean the person forward to do this. The person is now comfortably in their wheelchair.
