The SNP Stephen Flynn has addressed head on the pushback of the gender reform bill, calling it a “dangerous moment for devolution.”

Holyrood passed the bill to change the process of self-identifying gender, but the UK government is now blocking it from becoming law.

Speaking during Prime Minister’s Questions, Stephen Flynn said Tory MPs were going “against the wishes of Scotland” in a “slippery slope” to “imposing direct rule.”

'Against the express wishes of the Scottish Govt', but not the people of UK, England and Wales. As a Scot living in Edinburgh, I despise the SNP and everything they stand for. An absolute dictatorship. I hope this ludicrous legislation rips their party apart.

If I remember correctly did not Scotland voted to stay in the EU.

If the government overrides this law Scotland has every right to rejoin the EU without a vote.
