Great Video Mr. Dodson, I have enjoyed your series for a long time. I felt like I was reliving a discussion on the meaning of Dostoyevsky's "Fool" but with a more concrete everyday application. Since its not here, and since I have been reading a lot more Sartre thanks to your videos, I have to ask: Do you think that it is the interest or mere convenience that a capitalist system would keep people in this need to not be stupid? I understand that stupidity and the self-perception of stupidity is a human characteristic, but would it be magnified as labour is commodified? As I am already in college debt, I can see that I have fallen into the maws of this "stupid" distinction, and yet I am wondering if this could possibly precede or even create the systems of capitalism.

Can we reasonably assert there an existence of a dichotomy though? Most fall into the anonymous masses, and are never again to be distinguishable, fleeing from themselves, into self-deception. This was a real treat to watch; many thanks.

Stupid is when you are too confident that you know everything. A true genius has less confidence in themselves because they are smart enough to know that they don't know everything.

In engineering, there is a subject on stupidity which it call human factors. All good design needs to take into considerable that human are fallible. Many accidents are cause by smart people's stupid decisions. No doctors, engineer, managers are immune to stupidity. While I agree that we can be more accepting towards our own stupidity. Sometimes stupidity is just too costly and dangerous.

There is a reason academicians virtually never attend to the supply side of stupidity; exception being only those lines which serve their own commdified output.
