Why UK Has No Choice But to Go to War With Russia

The video explores why the U.K. may have no choice but to prepare for war with Russia, as argued by General Patrick Sanders. He highlights the need for a "mental shift" in British society, emphasizing the importance of modernizing the military and potentially building a "citizen army." With rising tensions, threats from Russia, and strained relations over the past two decades, the U.K. faces the daunting challenge of readying itself for a potential conflict with one of the world's largest militaries.

Needing to be prepared for war isn't the same as needing to go to war. This clickbait misinformation is gross.

Your content is good, but the clickbait titles are distasteful. "No choice but to go to war". You should be ashamed.

Just as in the US, Britain’s greatest threat is internal, not external.

Britain will never go to war against Russia by itself and so the numbers bandied about in this video are pretty much irrelevant to its capabilities.

Ex Norwegian long range recon here, the GFP rankings are flawed on many levels. If UK have addressed the lack of munitions stockpile we saw during the Libya war in 2011, then even if there was no NATO, I am betting on RAF, RN and Royal Marines to win any day of the week.

You got some of the best trained troops around, RM is the only guys we see come over to train in Norway every year. Not sure when this tradition started, but it have been like this for a really long time. If shit hits the fan in Norway, the guys I trust the most is UK and US, proven capability and no BS.

Ukraine type of conflict will not go well against NATO.

No one wins in a nuclear war, period. Better to have peace.

Russian boot on UK soil is, in my opinion, highly unlikely. Countries with borders to Russia are in a far greater risk.

Hope it never happens, but being well prepared is best defence. We must stand up to bullies.

The ancient Romans had a saying, “Si vis pacem, para bellum”, meaning “If you wish for peace, prepare for war.”
A potential enemy is less likely to attack a well-armed adversary.
We in the UK should heed that advice and strengthen our military, even if it means increasing taxes.

U.K would never have to fight the war against Russia alone though. UK has a very special relation with USA that goes all the way back to WW1. We also have NATO.

Time for both the UK and Canada to step it up. Our armed forces are weak. We should be ashamed.

I don't think the British people really even want to fight for their country anymore. It's not theirs anymore...

Dude, stop the clickbait titles. Your content is actually pretty reasonable, a decent overview of certain matters, but the titles are so offputting. Even the current title would be fine with quotation marks, if it was actully said, along with the person(s) responsible for the quote.

increase the UK defense spending but spend it in the UK. That creates jobs and generates taxes.

Ukraine has shown that Russia's Navy is not much to be concerned with and can easily be destroyed by low cost surface drones.

The fact that a primeminister undermine a general is just crazy, specially regarding preperations for conflict.

Our relationship with Britain officially goes back to July 4th, 1776. Yes, we rebelled and we had yet another fight in 1812, but ever since then Americans have always remembered where our ancestors came from. I've always considered the U.S. to be England's hellraising and disobedient child, but no matter how much we may bicker and disagree with each other we Americans will always have England's back.
