This is awesome! Quick question though: at 24:42 you mentioned that water will follow Na+, but this was in the thick ascending limb of the loop of henle... Isn't this area IMpermeable to water?

Why is the countercurrent mechanism in the loop of henle needed? I don't understand this as the urine is roundaboutly diluted the same before or after the loop of Henle.
