Johann Wolfgang Von Geothe peers behind the veil and tells us what cognition is, how it functions, and our human awareness of it. This is epistemology at it's finest and causes us to use cognition to activate the intellect and then go beyond the intellect to settle in being itself. Whoa, yeah! This is from Rudolf Steiner's rendition of Geothe's world view, get it and read it.

I also recommend his prior book, Truth and Knowledge. Short and to the point.

The glance is the secret. The eyes beckon intent.

I became euphoric at that point. I was at long last capable of thinking about something I knew without really knowing. The reason why seeing seems to be visual is because we need the eyes to focus on intent. Don Juan and his party of warriors knew how to use their eyes to catch another aspect of intent and called this act seeing. What Silvio Manuel had shown me was the true function of the eyes; the catchers of intent. "Castaneda"

Goethe's Theory of Knowledge: simply reading this book of Steiner's and following along with the ideas and concepts awakens one to true cognition.

Thinking out load here: it's the experience of the object that leads to thinking about the object, thinking causes devidin into: faith, truth, or knowledge (bits). Afterward, only then can we unify into the whole (holistic) called: WISDOME more precious than all perals

Thank You for subscribing to me I have a ton of videos I've watched throughout the years that you're welcome to. This video is definitely worth watching more than a few times to process all of how a thought of an idea is created, not only this but in our quest for knowledge, how do we know what we seek is true knowledge or just what we think is the truth in the knowledge we seek. If others are like me, I'm my biggest critic, lol, you wouldn't think that if read some of the comments I wrote. But I know a smart guy when I see one an your one of the most intelligent quick learning guys I've met on the internet with a love for language and understanding the physics of the Universe. So I'm glad we've finally met on this marvelous invention called the internet. Some might say we get to choose who we meet up with in life if this is true I'm glad I picked you. Well enough of my jabbering hope to engage in more conversation in the future with you, an I'm envious of you creative thought processing, take care my friend.

Those are some pretty heavy thoughts my friend, but what is the blow-mind is that there is no end to it. Maybe this is the reason I think we are part of a collective, whenever I think I've have come up to a wall an can't go any further bam someone will say just one word an a whole new field of thought will enter my mind. It's the never ending story of life, an our part of creativity of the creation of the Universe. The hardest part is judging ourselves, is what we say the truth we ask ourselves, an that's when our experience comes into play an guides us. Yes Sir some pretty heavy thoughts my friend enjoy peace an happiness while manifesting the light an love of life.

Well I need to listen a few more times here but I can say that there are many times when I am recalled of a past memory with someone who then reminds me of it but my memory of it is slightly different or they can trigger a part that I had no current memory of at all but then I question my own memory... These experiences of memory can at times be changed by someone else's memory of it. Who is right, I wonder? So much more I'd like to say...
I don't know about the "mind being an organ, " (unless he really ment the brain). However I do agree that it all begins with an idea, but we do have freewill; we also have inherent propensities which are ALMOST like that freewill goes away EXCEPT that we have the power to change those propensities by being spontaneous or doing something outside of character. Which opens many new doors and can even trigger something that was latent; hiding deep inside an alternate propensity.
I will listen again though.
Thank you for your time, my friend!

I commented on a different video the same. Don't know if you will see it. So re-commenting. I would like to recommend a book. "Be As You Are" The teachings of Ramana Maharshi interpreted and edited by David Godman.
