In todays video i'm bringing you all my latest and greatest Pyro Necro mage build. This is the most fun i've had with the wizard class, and it's still super powerful even after the massive nerfs from the latest Hollow Halls patch!. Enjoy!

ALSO the tooltip for the Excellent Ectoplasm soup is bugged... it does in fact give u 1 full hour of the buff, not 1 minute, so if u have the mats def run the highest tier soup instead of the 2nd tier one that i recommended! :) Lastly... feel free to try double gemini rings for the 2 ring slots. that +16% life leach. combine that with excellent soup and u have near infinite mana, and insane health regen after every spell cast.

If you happen to die In the Hollow Halls,
you can break down a few pieces of furniture for wood around the "respawn/checkpoint flames" and craft a fire,
place it down, the remaining pieces of furniture provide comfort and you get your "Rested Buff" back and running.

Great Update, but one caveat....weapons that used to spawn at 25 and would not level up, NOW level up to 30. Just a heads up to people who havent farmed the old spots in a while. REPEAT-anything that dropped at level 25 without upgrades now will upgrade to 30. Have a Great Eclipse Day!

Finally! Someone who showed off the Bone Channel spell. I was beginning to think I would actually need to go play it while I'm not in the mood (or wait till I am) to see it in action.

I'm going to copy this build, except for Well Rested, I just bring 2 or 3 campfires with me, plop them down by the respawn flame, after my 50 minutes runs out. Your builds are the best.

Great vid man, loving all the build vids you have. I am hoping that when they bring out new areas in the future that they also raise the level cap, so we can add a few more skills into the builds. Be nice to be able to add the shroud fire aura to this build.

btw: there's secret loot in that first boss room. at 34:12 as you're leaving the sarcophagus loot room, there is another doorway filled with rubble on the other side of the main boss room. top of that pile dig straight back until it lets u dig upward. opens into a room with 1 wooden chest and 1 silver

When picking Blink, I would always pick up Emergency Blink, especially over stuff like Well Rested. Its just a great get out of jail free card.

For mana sustain, the level 30 Undergrowth Staff is actually slightly better, providing +4 mana regen and 5% mana leech. The Blackened Staff may get slightly better damage overall with the crit bonuses however.

- Sinister Cresent Staff has 2x +10% damage to Hollow, as well as 5% mana leech. making it higher damage than Shroud Weaver and Blackened staff vs Hollow.
- Excellent Ectoplasm soup is +15% damage to hollow, etc. (better than greater)
- TIP: bring a stack of campfires with you, and make more as you use them. If you die, place campfire to get rested before going back in. (NB: campfires won't drop on death, they are not resources)

Also try out using 2x Gemini rings, +8% life leech each. combined with ectoplasm soup is 26% life leech. Combined with Blood Magic is near inf mana, and crazy fast health regen.

So I have a similar build with one of my characters. And yes there is a better mana regen ring.
Second thing. I tested all the staffs on level 30 and the hollowed halls staff (sinister crescent staff) is by far the strongest, even if used outside of the hollowed halls. The blackened staff is good too. But does less dmg.
And last my tip bring a third staff that has mana regen on (there are several). You can use it on smaller mobs and it will passively regen your mana so you can use your ring slot for something else.
Also the bone channel is on par with chain lighting even outside of the halls. The way easier crafting makes this a great spell.

BTW where did you find the Blackened Staff? I have not been able to find any info on it anywhere else via search, and you are the first I have seen to even mention it.

they have updated the skill since 4 months ago love the build so far but can you do an updated skill tree to this build?

I've noticed something. I have a Ritual Tempest Wand but all my bonus shock damage is +11 and not +9. I also found this wand AFTER the update. But the overcharge is only 19% instead of 20%. I wonder if you need to re-hunt some of your legendaries? Another suggestion, instead of ring of the ancients try the health leech ring. I've healed back to full from almost dead from spell damage from aoe spells.

i run a similar build, but when playing with friends (and sometimes solo when i forget to respec), i opt into the backstab perks (+55% dmg total, 1 in survival, one in center node), skip all tank points and max out int with the ever expensive node after martyr (skipping water aura entirely). i also run the archer pants because +1 sprint speed is great. running the 700 stam regen delay boots smooths out the stamina issues from running all the time. makes for a very fun, agile, glass cannon playstyle. i think i had to pass on the fire nodes in the wizard tree just to make it fit, but both my tempest wand and (shimmer?) staff are shock dmg, so it's not so bad. i also run the light shield because higher block means less stamina drain if i ever have to turtle up. is it an optimal solo setup? hell no, but its fun af. need health? kill something (3x int heal on kill with magical weapon) or dip out and heal channel. most encounters are quick transactions, so it works. just don't do heavy pulls. the backstab dmg comes in heavily with the cyclopses who have really long animations. just dance around them doing jumping wand attack for that juicy bonus to shine. its also funny when you accidentally jump on their backs when they do the dagger 3x stab combo.

Why not use the Gloom Monarch boots over the Radiant Paladin boots? I'd gladly give up the small health regen delay boost for +4 extra mana regeneration.
