I am afraid to get a Soup Tureen... I know it would start AN ADDICTION in me! LOL!!! I look at them on EBay and save they get sold at a high price and I can justify WHY I did not get it....how sad is that?

Every tip you gave is spot on! I want my top cupboards gone and open shelves... my husband says NO ...then people will see YOUR JUNK! I have no idea what he sees in the cupboards???? It is all my beautiful dishes! MEN! He simply thinks it will cost a fortune!!!

I second the idea of taking the doors off the cabinets. I've only done one because I dont have the energy to clean out the cabinets 😂 but I rent and cant replace the cabinets. I popped one door off and put all my pretty Mason jar blue drinking glasses inside.

I think I lean towards an industrial farmhouse style. I love farmhouse style furniture, lighting, etc; but I also love furniture mixed with dark woods and black plumbing pipe legs and dark colored accent walls with an old world coffee house vibe. I like to mix these two together a lot.
