5:23 Bulgarians were certainly not part of the ottoman empire, but were held under slavery for 500 years by the ottoman empire.
This individual is for bulgarians, what the germans call the Holocaust-Leugner.
Furthermore I‘d feel extremely embarrassed if anyone(in that case DW News) describes me as a Bulgarian, where I‘ve proudly declared in the interview that I’m from a turkish roma/hindu origins.

Appreciate the tribute to the Roma war victims. The interview is a good attempt to present the nomadic path of a gipsy Berliner, however, I'm not convinced that out of all Bulgarian professors and doctors, leading heart surgeons, neurosurgeons, molecular-kinetic theorist and linguists who work in Germany that Hristo is the most compelling person to be attributed with almost an hour long interview.
