Just came across musicradars interview with fender CEO, & this is what he says about the future of Studio One “I think you need to take away more features, make it simpler and more intuitive and less expensive”. I was literally shocked reading this. Studio One is such an amazing DAW, all these years the developers have been doing their best to make it powerful and intuitive at the same time. I cannot consider this as a right move for Studio One's future. I hope team fender understans how much the users value and depend on this piece of software and make a right decision.

I really wish this wasn't Sphere Only! I work in two Studios, where one of them has two Rooms. So three places. We don't have the need for Sphere, but every place being slightly different is annoying. If this could at least also be a feature of S1 Pro, it would add "Pro" to Pro, for sure!

This is no doubt one of the top ten features of Studio One that sets it above the rest of the DAW's. Absolutely awesome, just wish I'd come to know this before I got my new iMac...better late than never I guess.

Honestly I really need to thank you for this video! I need to reinstall my studi one one 5 to my new ssd and I was so afraid of losing all my personal settings presets and stuff. Thank you so much!

Has Studio One development stopped? Last year by this time there had been 4 major revisions, this year zero. Whats going on at Presonus?

Backup and Restore is an amazing feature. I backup everyday if I’m working in Studio One. The convert to zip file and auto upload to Shere is killer.

I own a full Pro license for Studio One 5.5, but a monthly sub is just not in the budget at this time for me. Although I want to join Sphere when I can.
Is it possible to do this back-up and have that file be stored "Locally" only? Then I could manually transfer it to another machine if necessary.
or
Would I be able to "sync" between my registered copies using this, but without sphere? I don't currently run S1 on multiple machines, but I may want to in the future.

So, I have been working on this song for weeks. I converted it to mp3 to listen in my vehicle, 4 hours later I go to open the song to edit and the entire song is missing. It's not on my C drive with the rest of everything. What happened to it and how can I get it back?! This just happened.

IMHO it should be more like automatic settings sync for a profile per name. But I won't go for sphere, I prefer owning it and sphere has not enough advantage for me.

How to do pitch automation in ''studeo one 5'' directly we cannot automate transpose button, all time we have to put used wave sound shifter plugin but it damages quality of sound, is there any easy way🙄

my studio pro one quit every time I try to export the mix down and it says : scaler 2vst did not work as expected how I can fix this issue : if I uninstall would I lose all of my projects and save track ?

I have sphere. I backed up and when I closed studio one and reopened it, I clicked on restore and all it says is to restart, I do and it keeps telling me to restart it. Why can it be as simple as save as for the start of the folder and then save to continue to save updated version of song. This is total bullshit.
