I was tasked with installing these in a lab environment, and setting them to was harder than it should be. This brief video will be of help to anyone trying to set these up for IP addressing and enabling web access.

Thanks, this was super helpful. I was able to set this up using a micro to usb-c cable on my mac using the Serial 2 app. Quick and painless option when DHCP isn't an option!

Thanks for showing the interface, process, etc. Also, fwiw, you don't need to blur an RFC-1918 IP Address as those are not routable on the Internet... unless you're protecting from someone inside your organization, etc. It would be different if it was an IP Address that could be routed on the Internet, but in this case it's clearly not as none within the 10/8 network are.

Hi,
I’ve just seen your video it is very interesting and I used it to help me. Is there any chance you could explain how to connect both PDUs to work with one bridge network.
Thanks

Is the web interface on these 9000 series PDUs similar to the web interface of the newer APC network cards for UPS’ for example?

You skipped a huge step, i.e. how did you figure out the serial ports to put into putty?
