Just read the whole comic just to understand what's going on in here; and beside the fact that this is going to be an amazing adventure ;) since we can see elderly soarin and spitfire, it means it's only one or two generation after the show, so Candy Chip going to ponyville may well mean "Gandma" is actually Pinkie Pie or related, or at least to a canon character of the show. amirite ? :>

Notwithstanding the more obvious stories in the background, I like how the sky is galactic as they travel across the desert. Like, that's just attention to detail, knowing that without lights, more stars can be seen.

Don't what I was expecting when it comes to the house owned by Pinkie Pie's decedent but normal is not one of them. Also Atom's looks pretty good for someone who just got wrecked not too long ago. (Love how this animation ties so damn well to your on going story.)

About once a year, I find some music, sometimes music video, that gives me intense feels, like an intense feeling of nostalgia for a world I've been in.
This is one of those, the atmosphere, the theme, the implications of the world you've made, so amazing. It makes me want to be in the passenger seat.

I keep coming back to this video, from the great music choice to the sheer amount of stuff going on in the background and the stellar animation and world building.. this makes me emotional on a level that is difficult to describe, nostalgia I suppose plays a big role.
When I was young my family used to go on long car rides, often times late into the night and the memories of the city lights going past and the stars slowly growing brighter over head as the city was left further and further behind; are vividly burned into my mind.
This video captures that vibe of those long, night time car rides better than anything else I've seen.
