Well explained, this guy knows about beer. I think his cadence in speech makes him seem like he's reading a teleprompter. Knows more than some here who are judgemental.

Thank you I am a Muslim but as a scientist I needed that ❤

Someone should make a channel that takes the short illustrated form used in this lecture and apply it to all food-from-scratch processes that only include the defining features.

I liked it! Simple and easy to follow.

Gino, you are correct. Yeast was not officially discovered until Louis Pasteur. Yeast was added to the list later on.

'Purity' law's purpose was to prevent lower-class people to make wheat beer, which was valued higher. This 'law' made wheat beer accessible for aristocracy only.

Boots the chemist used to sell home brew kits, it said on the can one to be taken every 15 minutes

Interesting stuff. Slightly bothered by the factual errors pointed out by others, though. One thing that I noticed: there's both written and archaeological evidence of brewing beer that far predates the 300 BC that's mentioned in the video.

Reinheitsgebot is the brewing purity law that includes the four things he mentioned

Im original Bayerischen Reinheitsgebot von 1516 steht nichts von gemälzter Gerste und Hefe. "Gersten, Hopfen und Wasser..." Mann, Mann, Mann

What's funny about the whole brewing and homebrew scene is that it's totally a white dude flannel thing, at least that's what most of the beard brahs think. Don't tell them that it was invented in ancient Sumaria by what they would probably call Muslims.

incorrect info when he is talking about ageing for taste in primary, also secondary fermentation does not develop CO2 for mouthfeel.... Really OU get someone who knows about the brewing process and isn't obviously reading off a flashcard some undergrad threw together.

I actually like how older Rami Malek narrates. He could be a little more natural but it's ok.

I'm pretty sure they just paid this dude to narrate the video in front of a library without have any idea of what he was reading.
